Directions

The Accokeek Foundation is located at the southern tip of Maryland's Prince George's County, about 10 miles from Washington, D.C.

Directions from the D.C. area
Take the beltway (I-495/95) or I-295 going south. Exit onto Indian Head Highway (MD Route 210 South), go approximately 9.2 miles. After you pass Farmington Road, you will take a right at the next stop light onto Livingston Road, by B&J Carryout. (Please note that there are a few Livingston Roads, and you should turn only after passing Farmington Road). Drive one block and turn right on Biddle Road. At the stop sign, turn left on Bryan Point Road and follow 3.5 miles to the end. Make a right into the visitors parking lot.

Directions from route 301, Crain Highway
In Waldorf, MD, turn right onto Route 228 and follow seven miles to the end. Turn right (north) onto Indian Head highway and move into the far left lane. Take the next left turn onto Livingston Road (look for B&J Carryout). Drive one block and turn right on Biddle Road. At the stop sign, turn left on Bryan Point Road and follow 3.5 miles to the end. Make a right into the visitors parking lot.

Piscataway Park is open from dawn to dusk daily.

The National Colonial Farm and Visitor Center are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am - 4pm from mid-March through mid-December. From mid-December through mid-March hours are 10am - 4pm on weekends only. Guided tours of the Colonial Farm are offered at 1pm on weekends.

The Ecosystem Farm is open to the public by appointment or during scheduled walking tours which leave the Visitor Center at 11am on weekends.

The Accokeek Foundation administrative office is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please call 301.283.2113 for holiday or weather closing information.

Cost
Regular admission is $2.00 for adults and $0.50 for children ages 4 to 11. National Park Pass, Golden Age, Golden Access, and Merchant Access passes are accepted for regular admission.

Admission for special events, such as Children's Day, African American Heritage Day, Colonial Day and Winter's Eve varies. Admission for special events is listed under the "Events" section of the website.
